Every July, San Juanico hosts an international tournament called “San Juanico Scorpion Bay Surf Tournament”.
San Juanico has a sandy base and the season for point break is in summer.
The famous beaches of El Médano are located in Los Cabos and are famous for its calm waters. Los Barriles and Costa Azul, with their quick and strong waves, are good options for expert surfers. The Monumento area, in Cabo San Lucas, is only for expert surfers since the waves can go up to 2mts high, with a rocky base full with sea urchins.
